What is cloud computing?

What is cloud computing?
It is the use of remotely located servers on the internet to store, manage, and process data rather than a local server or personal computer.

For example, when we run a business,  we need numerous servers. In this event, we hover between two options either we can purchase or rent those servers to store, manage, and process. To rent it rather than purchasing called cloud computing. On account of rent, we get the password and allotment of server memory.

Why cloud computing?

We need a host website. To maintain high traffic, we need more servers.
We are ought to monitor and maintain these servers.

Set up without cloud computing has multiple disadvantages

1. All this going to cost very high because servers will be on their own expenses.

2. We need a different unit in the company to troubleshoot in case of any disorder occurs.

3. Since numbers of the user constantly vary, it does perpetuate high traffic every time and remains idle.

To avoid these disadvantages we use cloud computing.

 1. You can rent servers on an hourly basis rather than purchasing.

 2. You don't need to deploy a workforce for troubleshooting or any other related problem.

 3. You can easily scale up the numbers of servers to manage high traffic and vice-versa.

 4. Here, Your cloud provider manages the server, hence you can pertinently focus upon expansion of your business.



There are two different models of cloud computing
1. Service Models: the kind of services that the cloud offers.
2. Deployment Models: how can you deploy or upload your application.



Service Models: there are three types of servicing model, namely
1. Infrastructure as a service:
2. Platform as a service
3. Software as a service


1. Infrastructure as a service:
They will give you the password, IP address, or a complete system to work that you can make the webserver or database server as per need. You get complete control over the operating system, storage, and server.

It provides virtualized computing resources over the Internet.

No varies about the underlying physical machine.

It abstracts the users from the physical machine.


2. Platform as a service: you don't get control over the operating system, storage, and server in this case. You get access to the user interface. Because they don't provide here the IP address and password to you. Here, you just have to upload your file or application through programming languages and tools provided by the cloud provider.


3. Software as a service: here, you get neither server nor user interface but a software.

Deployment models also consist of 3 types
1. Public cloud: when you are sharing your server with a host of different people.

2. Hybrid cloud: it is a mixture of both the public and private clouds.

3. Private cloud: if you want a stand-alone server, you should opt private cloud.

Aws and Microsoft are the two top cloud providers in the industry.

This is one of the most asked questions on Google.

What is an IP address?
IP stands for internet protocol or an allotment of the numerical number to a computer that cagily helps to communicate with other devices over the network.


Why do we need an IP address?

Computers and the internet communicate with one another via underground and underwater cables or wirelessly.
Hence, a computer or another device should have a special address that enables communication.
If someone wants to send you mail, then he must have a mail address. Likewise, computers or other devices need an address, which is called an IP address.
An IP address is nothing but a set of numbers, which is obviously different for all computers. For instance, a postman verifies address by dint of knowing the district, locality, and street, etc. Likewise, the internet verifies the device's IP address before we switch to download any file or browse anything.

Types of IP address 

IP stands for internet protocol address.
Internet Protocol is a set of rules that helps the device to accumulate information as you searched my blog because your computer or mobile phone entails an IP address, and Google sends data accordingly.
The IP address has two types, namely:
1. IPV4
2. IPV6
1. IPV4: internet protocol version 4, consist of four numbers, separated with dots. Each number can be cyphered from 0-255 decimal. As we know, the computer can not decode the decimal type number. Therefore, it's converted into binary first.
   IPV4= N.N.N.N
       
  N= (0-255) Base  10             
 (00000000-11111111) Base 2
Consequently, an IP address of IPV4 can be expressed by 32 binary bits.
Thus, there are only 4294967296 devices can be allotted with IPV4 address.
It has a demerit, it can only connect  4294967296 amount of devices to the internet, which is not sufficient for every device because we have in billions.
So instead of IPV4, we are assimilating the IPV6 system, which is of 128-bit address.

IPV6: internet protocol version 6, consist of eight hexadecimal numbers, separated with colons.
IPV6 can connect 340282366930938463463374607431768211456 amount of devices which is far more than IPV4.

Note: Internet stream protocol (IPV5) also became part of the IP address family but it could not run successfully. It had some restrictions like communication on a specific frequency etc.
How to check the IP address?

To check IP, type "what is my IP" on the google search engine that will let you know an IP address of your system on top.
By IP address, we can place ourselves on spacial rankings, which allows us to manage confidentiality.
The IP address can also be classified into two types:

1) Dynamic IP address: when we connect our devices to the internet. The Internet service provider provides a unique address from available range to us. The IP address in dynamic keeps on changing every time. Because the IP address is not fixed but it changes as per availability notwithstanding range always remains the same.

2) Static IP address: in contrast to a dynamic IP address, it never changes. It is a permanent IP address. It is used in DNS (Domain Name System) service provider.
However, these are less secure than dynamic IP address because it's easy to track.

Basically, DNS is a system that helps to access available information with the help of URL. Like, we write YouTube.com on the internet then how the internet allows us to reach a page,  having full of videos, the reason is DNS.
When we search a site on Google. DNS decodes the IP address of that from the site's name that carries us through the page, we have searched.
